Managing our impacts

Prior to the start of any project, Surestream conducts an environmental impact assessment in compliance with the country’s national legislation and industry best practices.

An environmental management plan is produced to mitigate any risks identified in the assessment. These surveys take into account all aspects of the environment and the various ecosystems including any current pollution levels and socio-economic activity that needs protecting.

As we endeavour to minimize the environmental impact of all our operations, the environmental management plan and its implementation will be audited and updated throughout the project’s lifetime.

Water Resources

Water is an important natural resource so we work hard to minimize our consumption and improve the quality of any waste discharge. We are also implementing stringent new strategies to prevent any freshwater pollution.
